Default Please be careful

At no point is it my intention to teach grandma how to suck eggs. However I wanted to share the link below (GRAPHIC IMAGES) with you. It is regarding injuries sustained whilst using angle grinders.

https://head-face-med.biomedcentral..../1746-160X-4-1

I am not whiter than white and also remove the guard occasionally to get into tight spots but please be aware of the risks involved.

I enjoy reading the forum and seeing what everybody gets up to. Long may it continue. Please be safe as it doesn’t take much to sustain a serious injury.

I point blank refuse to use one without the guard. I had a bad accident a few years ago and the guard saved me from potentially losing one or both of my plums.

They are dangerous things and very easy to get complacent with. There are some horrendous photo’s in that link. This year I bought an air driven cut off tool as the work on wheel arches of the Patrol were to tight for the angle grinder.
