dipstick needed

Hi chaps. Bit of an odd one but I need a dipstick for a 2.7 diesel. I opened the bonnet to check the oil and the top has gone missing

. No idea how that happened.

I have found one, it is the same lenth as my Mrs 98 T2 but does not fit as it is a tad wider, hers has the part number on the yellow plastic handle, the one I have is stamped on the flat shaft 86G06, Rick

The yellow handle is the part missing on mine so can't check the number. Do you think it will fit ok.? Worried about pulling it out incase it doesn't go back in right

if you have the thin one then mine will not fit, the only way to see is remove it, and see if it has numbers on the metal, Rick

Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.
