Default 2004 Terrano11 2.7tdi Se For Sale LWB

I am selling my Terrano as I no longer use it. It has MOT until January 2019, done 64k, 5 speed manual, silver in color. Cloth Interior. Has good service history but needs the following faults sorting
1) Power steering fluid leak (power steering pump currently disconnected)
2) Requires a near side wheel bearing as there is a loud rumbling noise.

Due to these faults I am selling as a spares or repair as it is not drive able with these faults.
The rest of the car is actually in very good condition and has had lots of worked carried out. It also has a tow bar with twin electrics. I am sure someone who has the time will get this back on the road in no time.

Good luck with the sale sir Both very easy fixes if the usual suspects.

The power steering fluid leak is likely to be found underneath the lower cross member that holds the radiator in place. Nissan decided that they would run what we can only guess to be a "cooling pipe" away from the power steering pump down and around the front cross member clamped in 2 places. It's where the pipe is clamped to the cross member that you are likely to find it leaking, it will have worn the pipe and will drip down onto the floor. Given our climate the "cooling loop really isn't needed. It's best to just cut it out totally and just use the rubber pipe that you'll find attached to the two ends of it to bridge the gap as close to the power steering pump as possible.

Little bit of a write up with pics here but I'm sure I've seen a a better one in someone else's thread.

Wheel bearing is easy Wheel off, remove brake caliper, remove fixed hub stud nuts and hub, undo locking tab screws, remove the disc and hub and replace the bearings, the hardest part is removing the bearing races with a suitable drift but I've devised a clever way of doing this now with my new hydraulic press
