will check later when I collect it the plan is an A-bar & side steps see what other bits and pieces i can do to it and i did buy some led headlights that were for a jeep to convert my Terrano ones so will most likely get fitted to the jeep now

no due to ill health i haven't been breaking any i have been getting bits from rick I have also been busy getting the Terrano ready for going to Holland, Belgium & Germany at the end of next month the jeep was spotted at a price i could not say no to have to be nice to the wife now

she is a 2.8crd auto just had this load of work done

extract from ebay ad
This car has covered 70,592 miles this car was a cat-c with a minimal damage i.e. dent in lower tailgate tailgate has now been replaced this was the only damage on the vehicle tailgate and respray come to £681 invoice to prove The good bits are has for virtually new tyres cost of £350
with brand-new TPMS at a cost of £170
the car has a brand-new brake discs
brand-new front brake calipers £140
brand-new rear brake calipers £120
new brake pads front and rear
new park brake assembly both sides
new exhaust from manifold to back £420
new track rod ends
two new drop links
Long MOT
parrot hands-free
brand-new towbar
recent new battery
Now for the bad bits
tire pressure light remains on the new tpms which are inside the wheels need programming to the car this has not been done yet not an expensive job can be done either main dealers or tyre firm
a lightning bolt light intermittently On the Dash When jeep Done a Diagnostic They Said It Is Because One of the Heater Plugs Is Not Working and or wiring harness both come with the car but have not been fitted yet
remote control mirrors do not work but everything Celts does


getting tpms done on friday my mate owns his own tyre company

he gave me a new loom and 4 Bosch glow plugs for it i will fit them over weekend if i get a chance i plugged my diagnostic scanner in it and it confirmed what he had told me about the glow plugs and loom at £1450 was a bargin i could not resisit

Not so good "on the road" though at least our WJ isn't !
Think Fred Flintstones Conveyance it's is quite prehistoric if you like that sort of ride.

ride was a bit harsh then i found tyres were over inflated now at correct pressures worst one i drove for ride being crap was the 80s and early 90s toyota hilux pickup to long a drive made your back hurt from bobbing about on a crappy bench seat

My WJ ride is made much worse with it having been fitted with an ADCO rear ARB it's ok on smooth roads and on poor roads at higher speeds.

Mine is the 1" diameter rear bar - 700% stiffer hence crap ride on road at low speeds on B roads. Previous owner put it on for towing.

yeah mine it terrible on potholed roads and we have a lot here great on a good road

shopping trip later to see if pressures make it better and hopefully reset tpms light
