that is a big word, what's it mean? I do not drink it it is in a sealed metal box, just keeps my welder cool, and I do not move it about a lot either, it is far too heavy, oh and it doubles as a car start device if I have a flat battery, Rick

the literature does say it is not designed to run on a 13 amp plug, I run mine on a 20 amp spur from my genny, (I do not have mains), Rick

Really fancy a tig

Unsure if they are as versatile as a mug tho ?

I'm assuming it's a more refined version of arc welding ...

I really enjoyed making the sliders, and found the stick welding very rewarding once I started to lay down decent welds, and watching YouTube vids of tig it does look pretty damn sexy when they get them spot on

Most oils are, the main one being hydraulic oil. Carcinogenic is when something has the ability to cause cancer. Thats why you should use gloves or barrier cream before working on your trucks.

I been soaking my hands and arms in oil since 4 years old, does that mean I am at risk? also been blowing out truck brake drums with air line for over five years in the 70s and after as a builder been disc cutting cement asbestos sheets and roof tiles, so perhaps I should have mesime???? whatsit, but I do not as this asbestos rubbish is just that, almost all the type we see is crysotile (excuse spelling) which is not a cause of "mesime????, but at the end of the day I am still here and in good health and certainly do not worry about eating a bit of dirt here and there, Rick

I never said "It will" cause Cancer, i said it had the ability to be able to and i also said "Most" not "All" oils.
Its Just the same as smoking could cause cancer, but many people go on to live long lives after smoking from their teenage years.
And i was only answering a question as someone asked what is was.

Keeping it

Decided this is too good to sell, perfect for heavy jobs, and I need to add bits to my sliders

Going to get a cheaper used 100 amp mig for doing thin stuff

Sorry Kamsin, I do not always read posts properly and jump to conclusions, it's called age, Rick

Removed my welder from eBay but one of the watchers has just messaged me and offered me £100 for it ?!

Dunno if I should hang on to it now lol

It's a 90's German thing, might be quite collectible
